Hobbies
Yea, I got few hobbies. Although the focus tends to shift around a lot:
Going out
Hitting the town? Ok I confess, I might have have been known to have a few too many when going out. These days I go more to concerts, parties or a friends place. When going out I like to dance, but I'm really bad at it. So I should just try to stay away from the dance floor.
I also like throwing a party at my place? So I try to invite some friend for a party every now and then. It seems my Mojito is becoming a popular drink. We even made our own cocktail.
Games
I play all sorts of games (however this doesn't mean I'm any good at it). I mostly like FPS, RPG and RTS games. So here is a quick list of the games I tend to play:
- First Person Shooter
- Quake II: We used to play this during class at college, ah good times.
- Counter-strike: Same as Quake II but less, now it's a LAN-party classic.
- Serious Sam: 8player co-op mayhem.
- Quake III Arena: Upgraded version of Quake II during LAN-party.
- Tron 2.0: Loved the movie and loved the game, has an interesting multiplayer mode instead of normal deathmatch.
- Real Time Strategy
- Starcraft: 7 years old and still great fun, can't wait for SCII
- Total Annihilation: I just love raiding Commanders with my gunships.
- Warcraft III: Blizzard scores again with this game.
- Supreme Commander: I still like raiding Commanders.
- RPG
- The World Ends With You: Loads of fun on the DS.
- Zelda: Seeing Link swing his way through the dungeons.
- Final Fantasy I-XII: Best RPG series ever.
- Kingdom Hearts: I had to try it after some good comments, finished it in 3 days strait.
- Kingdom Hearts 2: Started this right after the first one, and finished it in 2 days strait again. (needles to say I didn't too much else that week)
- Diablo II: Hack and slash to get rid of some stress.
- World of Warcraft: Maanu used to be Druid CL for a mid-sized Raid guild. At the moment I'm not playing much.
- Party
- Buzz: Lets see who is the smartest person here.
- Stepmania: I bought some DDR-boards, this is just so much fun (and exhausting).
- Rockband: This game "rocks"
I also try to organize a LAN-party from time to time. But it's been a while now.
For one of my LAN-Parties I created a very silly game that you can still play here. The object of the game is to find out when and where this secret meeting would take place.
Music
I like to listen to almost all kinds of music. My favorite type of music changes from time to time. I've been listening a lot to Slagsmålsklubben lately.
I feel sad not being able to play an instrument of my own. I'd like to learn to play drums one day. I mostly play drums on Rockband but I'm not good enough.
Movies
I like to watch horror and action/adventure movies. I got a small collection of DVD's.
My favorite movie is American Beauty (which is not a horror or action/adventure movie:).
Anime
Sugoi. I came into contact with anime thanks to Club Dorothee a long time ago. I got a small collection of anime DVD's.
Manga
After anime, I became interested manga as well.
I have bought several manga's. And I follow a few series on www.onemanga.com until they become available locally.
Cosplay
Costume play refers to the practice of dressing up in costume to resemble anime, manga, sci-fi/fantasy, and video game characters. I always wanted to do a cosplay, and during F.A.C.T.S. 2007 I took my first steps. You can find more information on my costumes on my www.cosplay.com profile.
Graphics
I enjoy drawing with pen and paper or on the computer. I'm planning on making a deviantART account soon and linking it here.
Inline skating
I'm sad to say I have not been very active with my inline skating due to University.
